Transition Town Honiton (TTH) came to life in September 2011. We have two groups
working to fulfil our objectives
and we have regular friendly gatherings
where anyone can come along and share ideas with us.
Honiton Community College Eco Council helped us plant trees in The Glen in 2012
Our two groups are:
Dave and Kate helping reuse on our Sustainable Saturdays clothes swap stall
There’s always lashings of tea and homemade cake at our events
The opening of our herb wall on New Street in 2013
A room full of people at one of our Transition Town Honiton events
Christine and Sharon picking pears in 2012 – we give away the fruit we pick from fruit trees or give it to the Foodbank. This fruit would be left to go to waste if TTH did not pick it !
Hugh F-W popped in to our Seedy Saturday event in 2012 !
Weeding the trees we planted in The Glen in 2012
Geoff & Lynda working on our New Street herb wall – help yourself to a few herb leaves or a strawberry or two as you pass by!
