Todmorden’s Incredible Edible

Todmorden is a market town of around 15,000 people in the Lancashire – Yorkshire border and, apart from producing two Nobel Prize winners, is famous for it’s Incredible Edible movement. ¬†”What’s this?”, I hear you cry. ¬†Well, the basis is to use available space, whether derelict land, town flower beds or recreational space for the planting of food for all to enjoy.

Incredible Edible Todmorden was featured on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage programme where the presenter was shown around the town by the organisers and planted a raspberry cane.
