Honiton Herb Garden open for all

The Mayor of Honiton David Foster formally opened our Herb Wall Garden last week. After several months work, we were very pleased to formally open the garden and celebrated with tea and (lots of) cake in the library afterwards!

The Herb Wall Garden is one of the projects our Planting Group runs. There are over 15 different types of herbs in the garden – read more here.

Thanks to the local papers for covering the event. See Midweek Herald website. Thanks also to Geoff Gilbert for taking these photos on the day and to everyone who helped with teas & coffees and made the lovely cakes. Thanks also to the library for letting us have our celebration there. Our next project will be a bird garden at the back of the library (outside the reference library area). Volunteers needed for all our projects, please get in touch.
